Third TAO Extended Technical Meeting Was held

Two years have passed since we entered the production phase in 2013, and the production design of the main parts including the telescope is proceeding steadily. Since it is about time to decide the way of transportation, assembly and launch in Chile; in addition to adjustments in Japan. On this occasion, 3rd TAO Extended Technical Meeting was held on November 6, 2015. Companies engaged in the production of the TAO telescope met together to exchange information on the current situation and to adjust future plans.

At the investigation meeting, we were able to understand the current state of each part where studies are progressing mutually, and at the same time we can start making images for transportation, assembly and start-up, which made it a meaningful meeting. There were 30 participants including corporate personnel, TAO members, and graduate students.
