MIMIZUKU Science Workshop was heldThe development of MIMIZUKU, a mid-infrared instrument to be mounted on the TAO 6.5-m telescope, is proceeding. In the next fiscal year, we are planning to transport it to the Subaru telescope and conduct test observations as a PI device. In addition, the fabrication of the TAO 6.5-m telescope has been shifted into high gear since this year, and we aim to start scientific observation at TAO at the earliest possible time. On this occasion, a mini workshop was held. At the workshop, we gathered science cases that we can develop with MIMIZUKU and discussed the possibility of observation proposals at the Subaru Telescope. Also, it was held as a way to realize the science conducted at TAO. There were 16 talks including from Hawaii. Since the TAO site is a very rare site where we can observe in the 30-micron band, lively discussions occurred even during breaks. The workshop was relayed to multiple stations via videoconference, and about 40 people from Japan and abroad participated.
