Construction of the 1m telescope started at the summit of Mt. Chajnantor

The University of Tokyo Atacama Observatory 1m telescope is now under construction at the summit of Mt. Chajnantor. On March 9, the rotating dome structure was craned and installed onto the lower structure of the enclosure. Then on March 11, the 1m telescope was transported upto the summit, and was installed into the dome on March 14.
