January 22, 2009 : The 1-m miniTAO telescope and its dome arrived in Chile!

The 1-m miniTAO telescope and its dome arrived in Calama city, at a distance of about three and a half hours away by car from the planned construction site of Co. Chajnantor. Once dismantled after making the temporary assembly in Calama, the telescope and the dome will be transported to the summit of Co. Chajnantor, and then they will be reassembled at the summit.
