星形成率†

1709.00183 : Brown+ "Calibration of ultraviolet, mid-infrared and radio star formation rate indicators"†

• UV, MIR, Radio Continuumと星形成率の相関
• 近傍銀河66天体
  • Balmer decrementでダスト補正したHa SFR
  • SFRは5ケタのレンジ
  • M_r=-24~-12mag
• 以下のバンドですべて非常に良い相関を示す(0.2dex scatter)
  • Wise W4 (22.8um)
  • Spitzer 24um
  • Radio 1.4GHz
• 基本的にL*クラス銀河では過去の結果とconsistent
• ただし、dwarf銀河については過去の結果より大きめに出る。

輝線比診断†

1709.07717 : Rigopoulou+ "On the far-infrared metallicity diagnostics: applications to high-redshift galaxies"†

• CLOUDY simulation
• [OIII]88um/[NII]122um 輝線比がgas phase metallicityとして使えるか
  • ionization parameterに強く依存する
  • electron density(n_e)にもつよう依存する
  • [NII]205umがあればn_eに制限をつけられる
• 近傍銀河でO3/N2をつかって出した金属量
  • M*-Zrelationを再現した
  • でも他の輝線比の推定とは比較していないのでは？
• z~3 HLSW-01のHerschel輝線比でもやってみた
  • Zsunくらいになた。M*-Zrelationにものっている。

• unbiased global gas-phase Oxygen abundanceは重要だが、ちゃんと求めるには適切な取り扱いが必要
• HII region + diffuse ionized gas (DIG)を入れたモデルを作った
  • HII : empirical line-ratio vs Te関係
  • DIG : MaNGAから出てきたstrong-line ratio
• Metalliciyが最大0.3dexずれる
