Disconnect the He lines and a power line to the cold head.
Disconnect all the electronic connectors from the dewar and the electronics boxes.
Uninstall Amp/ADC box:
Open the Amp/ADC box on the dewar.
Disconnect the connector to the dewar inside the box.
Remove 3 cap screws at the bottom of the box (One screw is used as a guide).
Remove the box.
Remove 4 plus screws from the aluminum board under the box to uninstall the board.
Uninstall ClockDriver box:
Open the ClockDriver box on one side of the dewar.
Disconnect the connector to the dewar inside the box.
Remove 4 cap screws at the bottom of the box.
Remove the box.
Make sure that all the connection to the dewar is disconnected.
Remove 1 cap screw connecting the black fin of the dewar and the cisco stage.
Install wire slings under the dewar, and hang them by the crane.
Position to tie the slings.
Install two aluminum blocks at the edges of the forks the hand-lift.
Tighten the screws on the lower-side to fix them.
Make sure that the inner side of the each blocks is the thinner side.
Then, install the stopper at the other side of the forks. This adjusts
the width between the forks.
Install 2 shafts with a bearing at the bottom of the dewar.
Lower the dewar, and set it on the blocks at the forks.
Tighten screws to connect the bearings and blocks.
Set the dewar parallel to the ground, and rest the top of it
on the pedestal.
Then uninstall the slings.
Tie the sling to the eye-bolts at the top of the dewar.
Carefully raise the crane, and erect the dewar.
Slip the stopper on the fork and insert it under the dewar.
Lower the hand-lift until the dewar sits on the pedestal.
Put kimwipe on the mouth of the vacuum valve, and slowly open the valve until the
pressure inside the dewar becomes equal to that of outside.
Unscrew 8 caps on the top of the dewar, and open the upper part of the dewar.
Unscrew 24 M3 caps and 6 M4 caps on the top of the outer shield, and 6 M4 caps connecting the
dewar case and the supports.
Then remove the upper part of the outer shield.
Cap screws to uninstall.
Close the upper part of the dewar, and screw it again.
Unscrew the 6 M4 caps at the middle of the dewar.
Cap screws to uninstall.
Install a chain block to the crane.
Install the wire sling to the eye-boltes on the top of the dewar, and hang it by the chain block.
Slowly lift the upper part of the dewar case using the crane or the chain block.
Take care for the O-ring, which easily falls off the guide.
Put the skirt (a plastic trash bag) on the lower case of the dewar.
Then unscrew all the M3 caps shown in the image below.
Cap screws to uninstall.
Slowly pull up the outer shield and uninstall it. It is somehow tight.

Put the skirt (a plastic trash bag) on the lower case of the outer shield.
Then, unscrew all the M3 caps (there are lots of them!!) on the both sides of the inner shield.
Be careful that there are 4 additional screws on the both sides of the shield.
Cap screws to uninstall.
The following image in the left shows all the uninstalled radiation shields and the O-ring.
You can now access either to the slit unit or to the filter wheels, as shown in the right.
